History of grape: Less known than other autochthonous Apulian varieties, Verdeca is an interesting grape, capable of giving life to wines of great pleasure and aromatic richness. A grape that is often enhanced thanks to careful vinification, with low fermentation temperatures and aging in steel. The result, as in the case of this Valle d’Itria Igt proposed by Terrecarsiche 1939,
Vinification: Apulian sapling training system, vintage at the end of September. Fermentation in steel at controlled temperature for 10/15 days.
Light tending to greenish yellow.
Fragrant, slightly fruity bouquet
Intense, harmonious and pleasant.
Suitable for first Mediterranean fish dishes.
