Vincotto Calogiuri "Balsamic"

Vincotto is reminiscent of the best known balsamic vinegar, yet many chefs find it to be more versatile and express more genuine hints. Obtained from two different varieties of native Apulian grapes Negroamaro and Malvasia Black. Boiled gently for over 24 hours. The product obtained, very dense, is poured into small oak barrels aged for over four years. Vincotto does not contain dyes or preservatives.
It can be used on hors d’oeuvres, roast meats, vegetables, fruit salads and desserts. You can also combine with smoked bacon and potato salad to get a tastier flavor.
